There is a legal tiff between the two giants regarding the iphone 4S source code. Samsung has dragged Apple to the court demanding the source of the iphone 4S code. Weeks after Apple received sales ban against the sale of Galaxy 10.1 in Australia, Samsung has claimed the source code of iphone 4S.

Weeks after Apple got the sales ban against Galaxy 10.1 to be sold in Australia, Samsung has moved court against Apple and asking for the source code of iphone 4S.The main point from Samsung is that the wireless technology is patented and not licensed. But Apple has hit back saying that it covers third party license granted to Qualcomm.
Apple’s lawyers claim that iphone 4S is already on sale in Australia and the network subsidy cash has already been allotted. In contrast Samsung has agreed to halt the launch of Galaxy 10.1 in Australia until Apple’s request for preliminary injunction has been granted.

Samsung is regretting for this condition as the Apple’s lawyers have said that they are not sure of what they can share with Samsung and what not. So, it needs to be seen as to where will the legal battle end.
