THE PRACTICAL PERSPECTIVE
Overall review.
A phone for planning and creating
The large screen and built-in pen offer room for reading maps and annotating plans. Think about the tasks you would actually use them for: a screen that feels useful at a desk can still be awkward when you are standing on a crowded train. Try the grip with a case before deciding.
Storage and charging on the move
512GB provides space for locally stored photos and media, although software uses some of that capacity. Keep a separate backup of important files. For a travel charging kit, compare the phone’s requirements with the charger and cable you intend to pack; a charger’s headline wattage alone does not confirm compatibility.
An upgrade decision, not an automatic upgrade
The S25 Ultra follows the S24 Ultra; owning the older phone is not itself a reason to replace it. Start with what your current device cannot do well enough, then compare the cost of solving that problem. We have not tested either phone side by side, so this page does not claim a measured camera, battery or performance improvement.
